Governor Brown is Funny

with 5 comments

Short and to the point here today. Governor Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown is quoted at The Hill rebuking POTUS Trump for “not fearing the wrath of God” (in regard to climate change)

Now, I happen to live in California and I have followed Brown since his first run at ruining this state so very many years ago.

Brown’s most recent moronic statement seems especially egregious to me because:

a) Brown was semi-educated in a Jesuit University, and

b) Brown is the leader of the Democrat majority in a state which has gone whole hog, and all in (no pun intended sort of) for every sexual depravity known to exist and then some. On top of which Brown is now overseeing the ‘Enlightened’ use of weed as a recreational drug being sold to any and all who care to get high, hang out, kick back, relax and do nothing.

This isn’t all that unexpected, since Trump took another shot at the sacred cow of the Cult of Climate Change, but it sure is funny to hear Brown go down that road and try to appear so sanctimonious.

Anti-Tax Cut / “Never Drill” Crowd

with 5 comments

In Courthouse Park in Sonora, a group got together to ‘protest’ the proposed tax cut and tax reform bill being worked on by My Man Trump.

I saw a photo in an article the Union Democrat newspaper  and had to share a snippet of it. Mostly because it highlights rather unflatteringly, the ignorance of those who oppose everything simply for the sake of opposing everything any Republican does in office.

Ar-tic

I would have thought it would be possible for one of the protesters cohorts to have gotten the person some help in spelling the word ‘arctic’, but that seems to have not been the case.

The overwhelming argument appears to be boiled down to: The rich are getting a .4% larger tax cut than the Middle Class!

When a Libtard wants to make a point, there is no time or reason to let a few facts get in the way of demonizing the folks who believe we all pay too much in taxes. And it goes without saying that every tax cut must be accompanied by giving a “Tax Break” to the poorest of the poor who pay ZERO taxes in the first place.

And… I considered leaving alone how the premise of a tax cut for Americans is going to affect Arctic drilling, but I can’t, I just can’t do it. Somewhere a village is missing their idiot.

The highly convoluted machinations and conspiracy theories of the mentally ill are placed in the forefront on a regular basis for all of America to revel in, while it also causes some of us to despair for the Nation and where it is headed with those same folks still breeding.

McCain’s Affair with the Girl (or boy)

with 2 comments

I just saw it on FaceBook:

From – “Primary Challenge Paul Ryan‘s page”

A quote from Joe Walsh:

“Someone just told me that 30 years ago, John McCain had an improper sexual relationship with a 16 year-old girl. I don’t know if it’s true, but based on the allegation alone, I think John McCain should resign,

I agree, it’s not the facts which matter, but the seriousness of the charge.

One person made a comment suggesting it may have been a 16 year-old boy, although not certain if that was a fact either. But the second suggestion of impropriety obviously doubles the imperative for McCain to resign immediately.

Boycotting the NFL Sponsors

with 6 comments

Since the beginning of the 2016 football Season and the anal orofice Colon Kaepernick’s moronic Snowflake Kneeling behavior, I’e been boycotting the NFL sponsors.

I started a Boycott NFL Sponsors page at Facebook to focus a bit of light on the issue and I urge all Americans to join the fight against the Anti-American NFL Leftist Marxist Buffoons.

Anyone with a news item which fits the narrative of hurting the NFL sponsors or reporting on how hurt they’re getting is welcome to join and post those articles, links etc. etc….

Long live America, the land of the free, becuase it’s the land of the brave.

Has Monsanto Dug Too Deep A Hole??

with 3 comments

An old saying is: If you find yourself in a hole. Stop digging.

I’m going to take a while to lay out my case here, so please be patient, there is a method to my madness.

My question is whether or not Monsanto Company has dug themselves into such a deep hole, they have no recourse but to continue digging until they come out on the other side of the planet?

Specifically, in relation to the glyphosate based herbicidal product Roundup (the name patented by Monsanto for their glyphosate based herbicide)). Various studies have been pandered by all of the parties concerned, those who believe Roundup is the agri-savior of humanity and those who believe Roundup is the root cause of all evil and current spikes in cancer, autism, Colony Collapse Disorder and I suppose acne in pre-pubescent goats.

To be clear here and as a full disclaimer; I do  not have a degree in biochemistry, chemistry in general, mathematics, statistics or even a degree of any kind! Also, I do use Roundup in specific and very limited areas around my property.

What I do have is a long term general knowledge of growing living things based on growing gardens since I was old enough to walk in my parents garden when I was six or seven. That being the case, I now have six decades of experience at growing a garden.

Some studies have indicated Colony Collapse Disorder is being caused by or exacerbated by Roundup. Such as at Natural News and Mother Earth News Those who are proposing the connection are those who advocate a return to fully organic farming methods across the planet. The folks advocating that process never quite get around to explaining how the worlds current population would be fed if we all go back to fully organic farming, but I suppose that is just a detail, not a problem.

The other side of that coin are the various entities with a major stake in promoting herbicide use in general, and specifically Monsanto who makes Roundup.

One thing both sides of the argument have in common is ideology. Extreme ideological differences which of course drive conclusions which may or may not have any basis in real science.

The greater the ideological inclination, the more rabid the response to dissenting opinion becomes. And of course the objectivity which would drive an honest assessment of the evidence is lost, and is never missed by either side.

So, then back to the basic question proposed by this written muse. Has Monsanto dug so deep a hole in supporting Roundup that they simply can’t give in to any findings which would support an opposing view that Roundup is harmful to the surroundings?

That does seem likely, despite Monsanto’s well earned profits, those would vanish in a heartbeat if Roundup was found to cause any or even one of the multitude of maladies so may “Earth Conscious” groups suggest are based on their “scientific studies”

Should Roundup be banned? That seems unlikely based on available science at this point. Is it a good idea to spray the weeds in your garden with Roundup? My personal opinion is: Hell NO!

Will I continue to use Roundup along the street and fence lines to keep the weeds under control and to reduce the fire danger in this rural California foothill area? Of course I will. Will I spray the herbicide where it might have any chance of entering the aquifer? Not until the CEO of Monsanto is willing to drink a Roundup cocktail.

Lets be real, poisons are poisons because they kill things.

Will Monsanto become the 21st Century version of USRC (United States Radium Company) and the Radium Dial company who offered young women good jobs in 1917 to paint clock and watch dials with radium?

The Water Nazi’s Are Back

with 3 comments

Here on the Left Coast of the US, in the People’s Republic of California, the Water-Nazi’s are back at work attempting to usurp the riparian rights which have been in existence since before this was actually a state.

The Hydro-Nazi’s, who are commonly known as the State Water Resources Control Board have given the people of the state of California until April 7, 2017 to offer “public comments” on what amounts to a vast take over of the property of every citizen in the state of California who has a well on their property.

At the Hydro-Nazi website is what they have titled “A Draft Emergency Regulation for State Intervention Fees” Yes, that is how it reads, not only are the Hydro-Nazi’s ging to take control of our wells, they now intend to charge a n annual fee for the right to pump water out of the ground under our property!. $300 is the number the Hydro-Nazi’s are suggesting they will start with.

All of this is done under the authority they granted to themselves under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA,) At this point in time, the groundwater management plan the State has decided on implementing will go into effect on July 1, 2017. We The People have until Aprl 7, 2017 to offer comments on the plan. Does anyone who reads this actually believe the State is going to listen to what we have to say?

Does anyone believe the State will back down from implementing their draconian control measures if We The People are righteously indignant about being forced to add a meter between our well and our house?

Would any rational person believe the State is going to overlook this chance to charge an annual $300 fee on every well owner in the State? (if you do, you’ve bumped your head)

On top of the annual fee, there will also be usage fees put in place for those who dare to steal the water which obviously belongs to the State of California. At the fees schedule website is the full legal mumbo jumbo which explains when and how much each well owner,  who also has to file an annual report, will be expected to pay to the State. An excerpt follows.

Section XXXX.1 Annual Fee Schedule. Except as provided in section XXX.1, any person required to file a report shall submit to the board an annual fee in accordance with the following schedule: (a) For persons required to file a report pursuant to Water Code section 5202(a)(2) who are not required to file a report pursuant to Water Code section 5202(a)(1): (1) The annual fee is $300 per well plus one of the following volumetric charges:

(A) $10 per acre-foot of groundwater extracted during the preceding water year if the person uses a meter to measure groundwater extractions and certifies on a form provided by the Board that the measurements were made using a meter. (B) $25 per acre-foot of groundwater extracted during the preceding water year if the person does not use a meter to measure groundwater extractions or fails to certify on a form provided by the Board that the measurements were made using a meter.

Please note that the above charges and circumstances are not the end of the intrusion into our property rights. If we fail to toe the line and don’t file the report on time, there is an additional “annual fee” which is 25% of the initial fee.

In the spirit of magnanimity  though, the State Hydro-Nazi’s have decided the additional fee should not exceed $1,200 for any one year. Generous of them don’t you think?

Section XXXX.2 Exceptions. The following exceptions to section XXX.1 applies for annual fees for the water year ending September 30, 2017, for which the annual fee will be one of the following: (a) For persons extracting groundwater in an area that is within the management area of an agency by September 30, 2017, the annual fee is waived. (b) For persons not subject to subdivision (a)(1), the annual fee is $300 per well with no additional volumetric charge. (c) For persons who fail to file a report by December 15, 2017, the annual fee shall include an additional charge of $100, plus $100 for each 30-day period after December 15, 2017 in which the report has not been filed. In no case shall the additional charge exceed $1,200.

The overbearing Hydro-Nazi’s are so generous in their own minds I’m sure they see this list of exceptions as some sort of ameliorative measure to keep us in thrall of their abundant care and concern for We The People.

I’m afraid however, they have sorely misjudged us in Northern California. If ever there was an impetus to move faster in the search for a route to seceding from the Sacramento Morons and to begin the journey to freedom in the Great State of Jefferson, then perhaps we’ve found that impetus.

Is it possible this is what it will take to prod every Northern Californian to join the effort to exercise our right to self-governance?

Is this what it takes to move forward toward a representative government?

Is it possible this is why we  need to reassert our demand to be represented, rather than to be controlled by self-righteous loonies from Southern California?

That would be the same group of geniuses who built a city (LA) in the middle of a desert and decided it would be OK to drain the water from Northern California to support the idiotic plan.

For those wishing to offer comments to the Hydro-Nazi Water Board, the email address is: commentletters@waterboards.ca.gov. These must be presented in PDF format and shall not exceed 15mb.

For those who would prefer to send an actual letter to the Hydro-Nazi Water Board the address is:
