NHS vs. Obamacare and Death Panels – Happening Sooner Instead Of Later

with 2 comments

I will get to how the current iteration of Death Targets at the NHS are joined at the hip to Obamacare Death Panels, but first let me set the stage.

Over at the British online version of The Telegraph is an article y Sarah Napton on a small uproar being caused by a United Nations mandate to prioritize ‘younger’ citizens for healthcare in the UK.  With the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals program in place, those over 70 years of age will be openly discriminated against for medical services in a system already stretched thin by the socialized medicine model being used.

A professor of social policy and international development at the University of East Anglia, Prof Peter Lloyd-Sherlock happens to be the lead author in a letter written and published in The Lancet.

In that letter prof. Lloyd-Sherlock states: “This premature mortality target is highly unethical, since it unjustifiably discriminates against older people.

The reasoning behind Lloyd-Sherlock’s letter is the insistence by the UN on a goal of targeting only younger citizens to reduce the mortality rate for certain diseases. Diseases such as stroke, dementia, cancer and diabetes. Even a cursory glance at the list of diseases would lead anyone, including a lay person to recognize those diseases are age related! In the article Lloyd-Sherlock is quoted as saying:

“The targets are not quite set in stone yet, so we have a final opportunity to impress upon the UN the need to alter this explicitly ageist health target.

That statement begs the question of when did the UK give up their right to sovereignty to the UN? Is a mandate by the UN to be laid down as law by the UK now, with no thoughts of just saying “No thank you, nice of you to offer, but still, no thanks”

Now, you may have already asked yourself why all of the fuss over at the NHS is of any relevance to those of us sitting in the US of A where we have had the finest medical system on the planet for decades. The answer is a simple one to answer, for those who have been paying attention to the ramifications of the socialized healthcare most popularly known as Obamacare.

The elimination of available options for privately held healthcare, in a move toward a single payer system (socialized medicine i.e. NHS) was the underlying goal of Obamacare, and those goals are being met. Currently, finding an affordable health plan which a private citizen can purchase from an insurer is a case study in frustration. Our choices are limited to very high premiums with low deductibles, or slightly lower premiums with bizarrely high deductibles.

Paul Gregory wrote an article in Forbes noting the dissatisfaction of the left with the disaster that Obamacare had become, and that was in 2013. In the article Paul Krugman, the Liberal Icon (or Moron depending on your point of view) of Reason is quoted as saying:

“Imagine, now, a much simpler system in which the government just pays your major medical expenses. In this hypothetical system you wouldn’t have to shop for insurance, nor would you have to provide lots of personal details. The government would be your insurer, and you’d be covered automatically by virtue of being an American. Of course, we don’t have to imagine such a system, because it already exists. It’s called Medicare, it covers all Americans 65 and older, and it’s enormously popular. So why didn’t we just extend that system to cover everyone?”

And then there are the other folks in the room. No they aren’t any more adults than the Liberal Democrats, they’re just the former and current crop of Corporate Welfare promoting Republicans… the GOP standard bearers who whined and moaned and piddled in their diapers when Hillary-Care was being touted by none other than the presumptive (at one time) Democratic Presidential Hopeful (hopeless) Hillary Rodham C.

Strangely enough, at the LA Times is an article lambasting those same GOP buffoons, and lamenting all of the problems with Obamacare, and ending the article with a plea to just finally do it – give us a Single Payer Health Care System based on Medicare and lets be done with the problem. Paul Whitefield writes the article and despite his lambasting of the Obamacare health care, he still toes the Liberal Party Line and that will keep him in the good graces of the Liberal Left, I’m certain.

Clearly, Barack Hussein al Obama, the student of Saul Alinsky politics, has his agenda planned, clearly he has funding from both internal and overt socialist money sources, and possibly from socialist sources external to the USA who use shell corporations, along with Super PACs, and assorted funding routes to further his agenda. One question surrounding all of the money flow into the sham of advocating for affordable health care is: How long will the American Public remain complacent and continue to put up with the lies, fraud and deceit? It pays to notice that none of the Uber-left Democrats will ever wake up, nor will they ever make any noise which might be construed as a negative statement regarding a Single Payer System for healthcare. That includes those who send their own parents, and grandparents to the death panels. A Good Socialist never fails to remain in lock-step with the Party Platform and Ten Year Plan.

One salient hope we of the Conservative Right still have though is one person who is on the radio five days a week attempting to enlighten the masses. Rush Limbaugh is still showing up for work and doing his best to bring sanity and a joke or two to the fight against this Liberal Left Coup. For the Rush 24/7 folks out there, doing a search of the archives shows Rush engaging the enemy all the way back to the beginning.

If the teachers unions were as interested in teaching students the art of critical thinking instead of simply trying to indoctrinate them into 21st Century Saul Alinsky Neophytes, maybe they would push the current administration to provide a Single Payer Rush 24/7 access at every school in the country. Don’t hold your breath though, that might be hazardous to your health and you could wind up in the mess which our health care system is devolving in to.

I am offended by Piers Morgan

with 2 comments

Piers Morgan is offensive, he’s also an idiot, but mostly, he’s just offensive. The bible is flawed, inherently flawed, along with the US Constitution he states in an interview on CNN, with Pastor Rick Warren. I have very little in common with Rick Warren, since he supported the Current Regime Master in 2008 and 2012, but he and I agree on one thing at least. The Bible is the Truth, it is not flawed, while man’s opinions are flawed from the get go. (except mine of course)

Piers Morgan has just offended millions of Americans who claim the Bible and the Lord Jesus Christ as foundational, true and supreme in their lives.

It is simply not allowed for anyone to be offensive in the current culture, so the only thing left to do is to find Piers Morgan and have him beheaded. (is that offensive?) I presume we might be able to find a few dozens of Muslims in this country who would be willing to do the job, for a price. Although there is a second option, which is to edit in a reference to Morgan also slamming the Q’ran as being flawed. If an enterprising young person with some savvy in manipulating videos is available, that should be easy enough.

With Morgan making the statement that the Q’ran is inherently flawed, the Moozlums running rampant around the globe should find it a joy and duty to of course take that bastards head off, put it on a pole and dance around it like the bunch of little faggots they are anyway.

And since Morgan is berating both the Holy Bible and the Constitution on the basis of the Bibles opposition to a homosexual lifestyle, (because there really isn’t all that much about it which is “gay”) perhaps the real problem is that Morgan would like to leave the closet. And yet he feels uneasy about his employment, or his registered alien status or… who knows why it bothers him and who cares, and wants to remain incognito?

One salient item that strikes me though is that Morgan, as a secular liberal British freak, wants to define both what the Christian Bible has to say, and also what the Constitution of the United States of America says. In other words, he doesn’t like what we as Christians believe, and wants to change it so it will fit what he believes about homosexuals, and he doesn’t like what the Constitution of America ( he should remember who that is, since we kicked their silly British butts off this continent a couple hundred years ago, when they tried to disarm the American ‘Colonists’)

So, now Morgan wants  to edit or amend both the Bible and the Constitution, while a large number of AMERICANS would like to edit Morgan’s visa to state – “Deported”, “persona non grata” and “Gone For Good!”

And back to the beheading thingie, it’s probably a bit over the top, but then again, I’m OK with that if it happens. And I would pray for the moron, despite my personal dislike of him. Actually, my INTENSE personal dislike of him.

As for the dufus’ First Amendment Rights? Since he doesn’t care to allow me to exercise my right to a Bible which is unaltered, I reject any plea that I respect his right to make stupid comments on a public (quasi) news program.

So, who knows a video guru to “fix’ the interview video of Piers ‘The Nimrod’ Morgan and Rick Warren? It wouldn’t take long for the entire Liberal establishment to throw that little girl under the bus if he was believed to have cast a slur on the Q’ran. It might take even less time for a whole metric buttload of moozlums to get busy and put a fatwā on that fatheads little pointy liberal noggin.

My name is Gar Swaffar, and I completely approve this message.

US Mayor’s Conference – Mostly Bad News

with 2 comments

The non-partisan (really?) United States Conference of Mayors has issued a report with a mixed bag of bad news, good news and bad news for Metro areas. The bad news is very bad news.
In the year 2020, some of the metro areas in the United States will have rebounded and returned to their pre-recession levels of job growth and unemployment levels. That seems to be the worst news in the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) report issued on June 20, 2011. The presumption is based on a lot of variables though, there are of course so many ways the time frame could wind up being in the year 2525.
The good news is that some metro areas will regain the lost jobs and return to pre-recession (Bush 43) levels by the end of this year. The report bases the numbers on data from 363 of the 1,210 metro areas in the United States with populations of 30,000 or more. Each city is represented at the annual meeting by their respective pinhead politician mayor. An average growth rate of 3.5% in the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is projected for 2011, despite the very low 1.9% growth projection (guesstimate) in the first half of the year. A rate of 1.9% GDP growth is only just barely above the amount needed to ensure jobs for those entering or attempting to enter the job market. It does nothing for the millions who have been and still are unemployed.

Seventy five of the metro areas included in the report are expected to have double digit unemployment by the end of 2011. Cities such as Abilene, Texas aren’t expected to regain their pre-recession job levels until after 2020. Some metro areas are even later such as Carson City, Nevada plus Anderson, Indiana among others which are expected to recoup their losses after 2021. Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor of Los Angeles who is also the current President of the USCM made the following statement at the conference:

“It’s time for Congress to get on with the serious business of legislating short and long-term solutions to our jobs crisis…. We need to stand for a new world order in federal spending. It’s time to bring our investments back home. We can’t be building roads and bridges in Baghdad and Kandahar, and not Baltimore and Kansas City.

Strangely enough I find myself thinking the same thing about Afghannyland. There are perhaps a few tens of thousands of Taliban and Al Qaeda all together. Let those morons have the whole country to themselves. That puts them all in one easy to deal with location and makes for a target rich environment for their elimination.

It  is the consensus of opinion of the conference attendees that much of the second-half growth recovery will be dependent on the price of oil stabilizing or continuing to decline. And with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia prompting the drop in the price of oil, it may actually happen.

The price of gasoline is hoped to drop under US$3.50 by the fourth quarter. Villaraigosa also touched on the need to raise the national debt ceiling and called on “posturing politicians” to yield to the necessity of the rise in the debt ceiling. It may be presumed the Leftist Pinko Commie La Raza supporting Mayor Villaraigosa was calling primarily on those politicians adhering to strict budget cuts from the Republican side of the aisle to roll over and play dead, along with all of the moderate Democrats who are playing like conservatives to hold on to their jobs after the 2012 election cycle ends.

The report linked above and HERE, notes that the Gross Metropolitan Product (GMP) of many of the cities exceeds by wide margins some of the GDP numbers of the international community. (beginning on page 3) In the report is the fact that Raleigh, No. Carolina beats out Cuba for GDP and I’m thinking that’s really not much of an accomplishment.

The report also shows a rise in the rankings of the metro areas of Washington D.C. with the rise being fueled by the federal government Porkulus spending. With two consecutive years of decline in 2008 and 2009, 2010 was a year of modest growth in GMP for some metro areas. New York metropolitan area GMP stood at US$1.28 trillion, Los Angeles came in Second with US$738 billion followed by Chicago and Washington D.C.

The most troubling finding in the report (page 8) is that there will be 50 metropolitan areas for which this will comprise a lost decade, and of the metro areas included in the report, 103 still have double digit unemployment while 70 of those areas will still have double digit unemployment by the end of 2012. While Mayor Villaraigosa offered a valiant attempt at an upbeat report at the conference, it should be noted he is a moron and  the effects of the recession will continue for quite some time yet.

The effects of the recession on the nation as a whole will have even longer term consequences which are as yet unknown in relation to the loss of job skills and the inability of younger job seekers to succeed in their search for career job development skills outside of wanting to know if we will Super Size those fries. A lost decade has far reaching implications across every segment of our society, it should be avoided if at all possible.

Barry Petroleum?

leave a comment »

Hugo Chavez, and Robert Mugabe would be so proud of their little boy Barry if only he would.

Take over the North American Operations of BP that is. Put those nasty British Capitalist pigs where they belong, in jail and assume control of the (private) company and run it into the ground the way he’s doing with every thing else he touches.

As suggested by Robert Reichhhhhhh and reported at FoxNews

Perfect, why aren’t the theory conspirasists yammering about the Feds having been the ones who blew up the oil rig in the first place?

TEA Baggers or Niggers Who is More Incorrect?

with one comment

When Barack Hussein uses the word TEAbaggers to describe a segment of America, I simply don’t believe he is unaware of what the difference is between TEA Partiers and TEA Baggers.

The use of the pejorative term is of course akin to the use of what is now euphemistically called the ‘N’ word which so many Southern Democrats still use when not on camera.

Both the word nigger and the term TEA Bagger are offensive when used to describe a person. Most often the person being described is unknown to the person using the terms in a personal and derogatory fashion.

The terms are used by strangers to condemn other strangers for either the shade of their skin or a belief system which does not include cradle to grave government intervention in the lives of the average American Citizen.

Traveling through the Deep South thirty five years ago on a quest for sanity after a series of excursions through South East Asia I found the nigger word widely used and widely accepted by most of the white and black population.

As a native Californian however I found the term as used in the South to be extremely offensive, not because of the arrangement of the letters to create a word, but in what was the apparent attempt of description of an individuals character by the word.

Being freshly out of the Navy, and living a simple life, I wandered through this nation, thumbing a ride from one state to another for three years, and more often than not found a ride with “People of Color” as my attire became shabbier and my hair grew longer.

Noting the current Regime Leaders use of the word TEA Bagger reminds me of the disconnect the White Southern Democrats had with the idea of a society with no racial boundaries.

The use of the “T” word by President Barack Hussein Obama marks for me a new low in his assault against the American people who choose to disagree with the fundamental shift toward the new Socialist Experiment which he is engaged in.

The constant calls for civility in disagreement ring hollow when placed against his rhetoric. The insistence by Barack HO on a level of discourse above the petty name calling seems nothing more than a way to quiet those who disagree by setting a tone victimhood.

The name calling appears childish from one who is the Regime Leader of the Western Super Power charged with the preservation of the American way of life.

TEA Partier is a moniker I accept gladly and with no reservation, but the pejorative “T” word is only another way to divide Americans between the Obama Zombies and everyone else.

I would suggest a call for greater civility in Political Discourse, but it would be a complete waste of time since I’m certain Barack has no need of it for any but his enemies.

Liberal Life Concept

with 2 comments

The Liberal concept of life can be explained by the analogy of how my cat lives her life.

My cat sleeps about 20 hours a day.  She has her food prepared for her and served on demand.  She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365.  Her meals are provided at no precisely no cost to her.  She visits the cat Dr. once a year for her checkup, and also during the year as needed if or when any medical needs come up.  For this she pays according to her ability to pay, which is nothing, and nothing is required of her.   She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house which is much larger than  she has a need for, but  she is not required to do any upkeep, neither does she pay rent or taxes.  If she makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.  She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep.  She receives all of these accommodations absolutely free.  She is living like a queen, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.  All of her costs are picked up by others (my wife and I) who go out and earn a living every day.  I was just considering all of this, and suddenly it hit me like a hammer to the head,  Holy S#!t, my cat is a Democrat!
So I did the only responsible thing I could think of. I held an election, placed my name and my cats name on the ballot. I voted twice , the cat wandered off and laid down to think it over. While she was laying there I counted the ballots and declared myself the winner.
The cat is now relegated to living outside in the cold and rain, with an occasional restful interlude beside a warm fire in the evening, and she has the opportunity (24/7/365) to chase down, kill and eat any mouse or bird brave enough to cross the yard on their way to my henhouse and the cat can sleep anywhere she can find….outside.
Last I noticed she had lost almost two pounds (from 10 pounds to a bit more than 8 pounds) She now has a better attitude when I drive in at night and comes to say hello and actually sits, rolls around and purrs to suggest I should feed her. That happens in this case to be the definition of work for a cat. Since it is moderately pleasing for me to see that the cat notices when I come home, I often do feed her something, and she seems to appreciate it.
The mice which were setting up condos and townhouses in and around my henhouse have all left for better environs (without hungry cat) and my monthly cost for corn has dropped significantly.
The cat doctor no longer looks at me as if I were being purposely obtuse about taking care of the cats health and the Cat Doctor isn’t getting the business she used to get.
I highly recommend this procedure for the entire cast and crew of the House of Ill Repute (Representatives) plus the SINate. (it’s a sin they get paid to do what they’ve been doing)
Toss their sorry buttocks out in the cold, find a new group willing to actually pay attention to representing the People instead of simply worrying about being re-elected and see what comes of it.
Repeat as needed, but without fail allow the New Congress Critters no more than one term in office to figure out how to scam the system to make themselves wealthy at our expense.

Ft Hood victim Randy Royer

with 2 comments

I won’t normally cut and paste, it bugs me to do it. But this is worthy for a few reasons and I wanted to share it…so here it is.
Subject: Randy Royer from Dothan, shooting victim in Ft. Hood: A MUST TO OPEN

This is what we expect from them – good ole AMERICAN people. and TEXANS !!!

A man had a TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there. He called her into his office and the minute he told her what was going on, she got a text message from her husband saying, “I am okay.”

The cell phone started ringing right after that. It was an ER nurse. She said , “I’m the one who just sent you a text, not your husband.”She thought the message would be comforting, but she immediately knew she had to let the wife know what was going on. She said, “I am sorry but your husband has been shot 4 times and he is in surgery.”

The wife left Southern Clinic in Dothan and drove all night.

Miraculously, here is the photo that was taken today in the hospital room. He is awake and will recover. His wife, who lives in Dothan , made it to Ft. Hood about the time he was waking up.

Thought I’d share this great outcome.

Randy Royer & W

At the hospital

You can rail against the policies of W, gripe about the excessive spendaholic ways of W (I did), and you can bitch about the way he handled the War on Jihad (I did that too).

But I just have to note that he has more class and compassion than the current regime of the arugula eating, Kobe beef munching dilettante Man-Child currently sitting in the office of the POTUS.
