Emmet Fox quote; this is on target

with 2 comments

Out pastor today quoted Emmet Fox, not a man or quote I’d heard before. It did however hit a note of reality for me. How often do we fail, simply because we fail at the Greatest Commandment?

It makes no difference how deeply seated may be the trouble; how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all. If only you could love enough you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the world.

  1. Gar, I love this quote by Emmet Fox. I try to every day share some love with someone I know. I know it does wonders when you tell another person you love them. We could all be happier if love were the main feeling in today’s world. Unfortunately there are so many places and people who only have hatred in their hearts. So sad.

  2. I really enjoyed the quote myself, it speaks to the issues my wife and I find between troubled couples in the Marriage & Family Ministry we oversee.
