Truth, Justice, Freedom [under fire]

Politics can be mundane, but rarely boring

Now is the time to worry

Resident Obummer has decided it’s time to “focus on the private sector”.

That is one of the most troubling statements he’s made yet. Every time the Moron of 1600 “focuses’ on some portion of the private sector, it either disappears, the CEO is fired by Obummer and his group of Commie Cohorts and Czars (stooges one and all), or the sector he’s focusing on becomes part of the Federal Government.

Now that Obomba has decided to focus on all of the private sector economy in the USofA, we’re all in deep trouble. With a generic “private sector” description of his new target, nothing is safe. From the largest manufacturing businesses (both of them) left in this nation to the local Mom & Pop store down the block, we’re all in his sights now.

The Resident’s chairman on the Council of Communist, Islamic, and Marxist Economic Advisers Austan Goolsbee has stated the Resident is going to shift from the “rescue” phase (that really went well didn’t it?) to the “encouraging the private sector” phase.

That type of statement brings to mind what happened to GM. GM got “encouraged” to cut loose the CEO who was trying to run the company to make a profit despite the machinations of the unions and government regulations (CAFE standards)

When Bawney Fwank, and Chris Dodd(ering old fool) focused on the housing market, we got the mega housing bubble, which then preciptated the mega housing bust of 2007-2008. A perfect scenario for the Dumbocrats, they caused the problem  with a RINO Republican President in office and used the crisis to regain the power they lost because of all the stupid actions from forty years of Democrat control of the House and Senate, which also included no balanced budgets for that same forty years.

All of this has and/or will lead to the nationalization of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. That will in turn force the American taxpayer to assume all of the risk of all the bad loans precipitated by Jimmy the peanut Carter who came up with the brainfart called Community Reinvestment Act, (social engineering) which was expanded under Billy (I didn’t have sex with that woman while ordering the bombing of an aspirin factory) Clinton.

So… Alan Goolsbee believes we’ve turned a corner in the economic downturn. He believes that because the unemployment rate is up to 9.1% (of the folks actually looking for work, which does not include those who have given up or are simply chronically under-employed – such as any former CEO’s working the night shift at McDonald’s)

Goolsbee touts the number of new jobs created over the past fifteen months as being 2.1 million, or about 140,000 jobs per month over that fiftgeen month period.

Unfortunately it takes right at 250,000 jobs per month just to hold even since there are that many new job seekers and people who lose a job every month as mentioned in the Time article HERE.

The end of this depression , not a recession, will occur when actual manufacturing jobs return to the US, not until then. Manufacturing jobs aren’t able to return until the environmental zealots and the over the top environmental laws are overturned. Drilling in ANWR is being denied due to over the top environmental zealotry, offshore drilling is held up for the same reason.

The list goes on, but the primary problems are the morons who gamble in social engineering projects with our tax dollars, give our tax dollars to every nation on the globe (including the ChiComs for some reason) and then ask for more money because they ran out.

2012 is coming up, new people with old ideas of Loyalty, Patriotism, Truth, Justice and Freedom are required. Until that day arrives all we can do is hunker down, pray hard and stay armed with both truth and arms. 5,000 rounds on hand or you’re just another target in a stalled election process when the Liberal/RINO Elites figure out they’re going to be ousted.

  1. A wise man once said – “If you don’t know what to do, then don’t do anything.” It seems in this case that the people in charge are pulling levers on a train without fuel. Eventually, they will find the lever that dumps the load onto the ground. We need to fuel the train. The only way to fuel the train, as you said – is with jobs. We need to do it by providing opportunities for our young people.

I remember my first job. They didn’t need to give me the job, but they made the job for me because I asked for one. People who are comfortable do not take initiative or invent. We need to not over carry our young men and women, but give them opportunities to take this still Great Country of ours down the tracks.

    • You Sir get an A+ and go to the head of the class. Opportunity is the key, not a guarantee of cradle to grave subsistence at the lowest common level of lievlihood.
I’d vote for you as the engineer for our train.

  2. Superb analysis, Gar. You do have a way of putting together information and your analysis is spot on. While there are many who lament that this president, et al ‘don’t know what they are doing’ — I disagree. They know precisely what they are doing and their actions are purposeful and meant to destroy evil capitalism. You would think people would wake up eventually. Sad to say, they are not, IMHO.

This advice is priceless — “… pray hard and stay armed with both truth and arms. 5,000 rounds on hand or you’re just another target in a stalled election process when the Liberal/RINO Elites figure out they’re going to be ousted.” Done from this end.

    • Thank you, I’m sure you’re right. They know what the results of their plans are, they can see the current results and have had free reign with their “Kenyan Candidate”…..Jerome Corsi keeps plugging away at the issue as do so many others.
When the truth is out, there will be blood in the streets.

      • Unfortunately, I am thinking your prediction may come true. Sure don’t want to see this happen, but may be inevitable. A second ‘civil war,’ if you will.

  3. I would suggest that the Tree of Liberty is only fed by the blood pf patriots. All else leads to a citizenry subservient to the needs of the government. as we now are. Politicians run for office pretty much full time to stay in the New American Aristocracy and away from the results of their disastrous policies.

  4. It seems that talking about what is happening now in the current administration is near pointless without including the succession of it within the conversation.

    • The next step in the process is of course to replace the current regime with a leader who has read the Constitution and attempts to both adhere to it, but who also makes an effort to return to the founding documents without adulteration.

Some changes were needed in the original documents, that’s a given since women weren’t allowed to vote.
But the primary problem it seems to me is that none of the current crop of politicians from either of the two major parties have all that much to distinguish them from each other. Only in the matter of degree of distasteful social engineering and hands on or hands off business do they show real disagreement.

I would wager none of the current crop has read any of the Federalist Papers and perhaps don’t even know they exist.
Those writings show the thought processes of the founders prior to, while and after writing the founding documents. Without that understanding we get to the point at which we stand now.

As a matter of fact Federalist paper No 10 could have been written with today’s headlines in mind.
